I graduated high school in 1993, an experienced line artist wondering how to make a living drawing Mustangs and Camaros for people. My PC usage ranged from typing history papers to playing Civilization - graphic arts and website design were beyond my scope of knowledge. In the 11+ years since, I have learned step by step how to use PageMaker, Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark XPress and LiveMotion. Did I acquire knowledge of these programs for my own personal satisfaction? Nah, I learned them for an employer who wanted me to design trade magazine ads and logos. When this same employer approached me about designing their website, I took the task and became familiar with HTML and DHTML programming. And when this employer downsized and sacked me (tongue and cheek), I stood in line for employment and began freelancing my website design services to area businesses. And here we are - the present day.
